First let me tell you how excited I was to be asked to be a Guest Designer for Cuttin Up With Class, I was stoked!! Jani is such a wonderful person and I am so happy to have met her through her challenge blog...

So let me share with you my creation... I decided to create my Christmas ornament for this as well as for a swap I joined in on.. I had so many ideas floating in my head and this is the one I captured and worked with... I also created an svg. file for it.... I decided I wanted to create an Angel for my ornament, and this is what I came up with...

I doubled the cardstock to make it thicker, I colored the head peach, then added gold glitter to the halo, I cut the pattern paper with my angel svg. and adhered it altogether, then added the lace and embellished with the heart button, finishing with the white ribbon for hanging..

So what do you think???

Hello......
I have completed a card I needed to do for a swap, plus I used an svg.file from Cuttin Up With Class, for there weekly challenge.. This card is for a Give Thanks themed swap, so it worked out perfectly...I love the way it turned out!!

The cute little scarecrow is actually from last weeks challenge, but I didn't get my card done in time, but..... I LOVE this little guy and had to use him!! The Give Thanks is for this weeks Challenge, and it suited this card.. I have a few more projects I am working on, and so much more I need to get done before I start packing, but so little time.. I tend to wonder if I will get near done before moving time approaches..

Double Twisted Easel Card....

This card was so much fun.... This is my very first try at the Double twisted easel card, at first I thought it would be tricky, but not at all... I had so much fun working with this and love the way it folds and stands up.

Fall Leaves....

I created this card with a free file from Cuttin up With Class. They have a weekly challenge every Tuesday, and give you a free file to work with. This challenge was to create something using the fall leaf file and this is what I came up with..

This is the front of the card, I used some files from Penny Duncan as well..

This card is also an easel card, I added more fall leaves to the inside.. I love these leaves!

A crafty Moment....

I have finally got to fit a crafty moment in today... I meant to do some crafting yesterday, since it rained here all day, thank goodness!!! The rain was much needed here in Texas, we have been in a drought for so long. How ever I ended up reading my book, finishing it and playing with the kiddos.. I need to get caught up with birthday cards so I took time today to work on one, I love this style, easy, simple, and very pretty... I may work up a few more like this.

Butterfly Mask....

I had so much fun playing in my little Art room today... I wanted to work with this mask for the challenge over at Cuttin up with class. She also shared a butterfly mask which, I LOVE butterflies.... So you just know I had to play with this file.... LOL

This is what I came up with!!! I embossed the butterfly body, so it gave it a bit of a textured look. My daughter has already tried it on and loves it... I have entered this in the challenge over at Cuttin up with Class...

Halloween Witch...

I wanted to share this super cute Halloween card I made for a swap I was in recently.. I just love this little witch digi, I found her over at Pixie dust studios. I colored her in with prismacolors, and used some spider webs for the corners.

I am having alot of fun in my art room.. I have a few other projects in the works so I'll have more to share soon!!

I for one can't express enough how happy I am for Fall to be here!! I love it!! The weather, the turning of the colors, leaves, the pumpkins, and everything Fall!!! My allergies don't seem to like it much, but I do... Halloween is one of my most favorite holidays and it's right around the corner, I can't wait! Although my kids have no clue what they want to dress up as.. Time will come!!
Ok, so on to what I have been working on, and yes I have been busy..... LOL
I have worked on a few things, but want to share 1 with you today so as to keep posting up a bit.. Over at Cuttin' Up With Class, they started there first blog challenge, and have shared a cut file as well! I think this is a great challenge and just love the idea.. For the first challenge she shared a pumpkin file to work with..
This is what I came up with

I took the pumpkin and duplicated it and welded to make a card.. I first inked the card, and I got messy too! lol That's the fun part right??? after inking the card to it's color, I embossed it with my cuttlebug, then inked the raised part with brown.. I then embossed that with clear powder, I took the photo above to show the glossy look...

Next, I embossed the leaves, and spritzed them with my glitter mists.. I used pop up dots to raise the leaves and and the middle part of the pumpkin.. I love how this card turned out!!!

LOL... Here I am!! I return today with a cute little bow I made for my daughter's picture day last week. I know it has been a long time since I posted, but life in general took me over!
I've only worked on a few things within the time I last updated my blog, and boy have I missed enjoying my art room... I plan on having more time playing now, and hopefully will have more to share.. Let's see if I can't try and keep my blog updated!! LOL
Ok, so here is the bow I made for my daughter...

What do you think??? She loved it, and had so many compliments from school friends and teachers over it!! It makes me happy when I can make things for her and she loves them!! ok, so I know it's been a lifetime since my last post and I do hope I can gain my blogging friends back!! Friendship....

I joined a swap themed "Friendship" in one of my groups and will share that with you today. I had fun creating this card. I used a "Precious Moments" FREE image that I found on a blog (can't remember where as I found lots and saved several from many different sites.) I colored and cut her out, then used a frame I cut with my cricut, and some prima flowers & ribbon. I love the end result, and I love the precious moments images..
I then stamped it with oh I honestly can't remember the stamp but I received it from a friend.. lol ( It is so hard to keep up with everything!!)

It's Spring Break!!

Hello everyone! I know I have been pretty busy as of late, and so behind on blog updates. I haven't been all that crafty but within the last few weeks I have created a few hair bows. I made a couple for my daughter and one for her friends who turned 6 today.. I love making hair bows, and my daughter absolutely loves them!

I'm going to be making more this week, as I would like to make some for my nieces.. I've also made some cards and will share them through out this week. Playing with ribbon.......

Hello... I was a bit productive today. My daughter has been doing so well in school and I thought I would surprise her with a gift to show how proud we are of her... She is 5 years old and in Kindergarten and has progressed in leaps and bounds.. It's the end of the 4th 6 weeks and they have and will be testing all week.. Last week they had their Valentines Party which was lots of fun! It just amazes me everyday how fast our babies grow up, and yes they will always be my babies!!! LOL
So here is what I worked up for her.. She loves to when I make her things as she also loves to craft!

I absolutely love ribbon, and making hair bows, and she loves to wear them... So I made her these 2 hair bows and I had made this card a while back so I just fixed it a bit.. It fit so well with the reason for her gift, so I thought it was perfect along with the matching book mark, since she is on the track to reading on her own!!

Butterflies.....

Butterfly Card - white cardstock, black cardstock, misc. decorative papers (from stash), butterfly digi image, scallop circle cut with cricut, butterfly glitter stickers, handmade roses.

I created this card for a swap in one of my groups, theme calls for butterflies...

I also entered this card in a sketch challenge - Sketch Saturday.. I've never won a challenge but do enjoy participating in them and seeing all the beautiful creations... They are also an inspiration to me, helps me flow in my creation, and gives me ideas.. I hope the recipient is happy with this card..

2011 Calendar.......

I just wanted to share with you the 2011 Calendar I completed for myself. I used decorative papers from various designers and printed them off using my printer. Very simple but I love it, I did think of putting some 3D butterfly stickers on each page, not sure if I will or not, still deciding....
Anyhow here is my calendar

I just realized after looking closely at the photos then at my calendar that I misspelled January.. Oh well! It's almost over anyway right?? LOL

It has been awhile since I posted on my blog, I just want you all to know I am still around just been MIA from blog land... I did some blog hopping this morning and will be doing more through out time.. I get so behind on blogs. I don't always leave comments and I really should stop and leave a bit of love for you all.. I have been doing some work on my blog trying to fix things up and rearrange to my liking etc.. I did make me some new blinkies if anyone would like to grab one. I also went through and finally got my headers and background loaded into live skydrive correctly, so they are back up to share. I apologize if I caused and issues with those who were using my headers and backgrounds. I hope I don't have to move them again, I believe this is better and easier. I have also added a page to display a slideshow of all my creations.. I have rearranged my Craft room also and hope to get some creating done this weekend.. I am planning on joining in the OWOH this year, and want to get that done and ready.. Anyway, that's what's been going on here.. I hope to have something to share with you all very soon!! The 2 frames I created for my mother and mother-in-law for Christmas... I had so much fun creating these, and was so excited to see them open them..
Here is the one I created for my mother-in-law

I made this Indian themed since she is into the Indians and Wolves like me. I created the gamma poem, and used digital graphics for the picture. Then created several roses, inked them up and put on the sides.. The roses really give it a finishing touch... I love these roses.. Don't you?? If you would like to make some up you can grab the file over at Penny Duncan's Blog.. She has such talent and shares it with everyone, such a sweet and loving woman!!
Ok now onto the frame I created for my mom

and she is all country style, so I incorporated a country scene into this one... It kinda reminds me of her home, she lives in the country and when you look out her kitchen window she has a tree she has bird feeder on and they come and eat the food and sit out her window, she also has a bird bath out there and the squirrels come around too & many many butterflies... lol I again created several roses and then some hibiscus to add to this frame.. you can also find the hibiscus file over at Penny Duncan's blog as well..

and... a bit closer so you can read the personalized poem I created for her frame..

I really enjoyed creating these and so loved watching them open them up!! They loved their frames.. I wonder what I'll do next year....
I do plan on making me up a frame like this for mothers.. I love how they turned out!!!

Lots to Share…..

I know it has been ages since I last updated, so I thought I would share most of what I have accomplished the last few weeks. I have been working on family handmade gifts, tags, and then goodies for my daughters School Christmas party, and her teachers gift.
First I will share the tags I created....

Now the first picture are tags using files from Penny Duncan, the ornament tags are ones I created. I freely drew the ornament and created the tag cut file. I am also sharing that at the bottom of this post.
Here are a few more I created..

Ok, now for my daughters school party goodie boxes I created. I found this awesome template online, can’t remember where. I was in such a swamped hurry that I didn’t save and can’t remember the creator. but you can google stocking template and find it, that’s how I found it.

and I made some chocolate candies with the santa & tree molds. then added the candy cane…

Then here is the frame I made for my daughters kindergarten teacher. I used the rose file from Penny Duncan and created all the roses.

Magnet Pop Off Card…

This was really fun to do, and I just knew I wanted to use flowers for the magnet. I already had several roses made up as well as the hibiscus, so I used them for the magnet piece. I used several cut files from Penny Duncan, I love the frame... I am sure I will be using this one quite a bit! I used some Green Glimmer Mist I had made up for the frame, and completed the card with a stamp (I believe it is from TAC).

I added the flowers around the sentiment & frame, and the ribbon to complete.. So what do you think?? I am pretty happy with it, and sure hope my swap partner likes it..

Something to Share….

I’ve held off on posting these until they were received by there recipients… First is the altered can I did, which was new to me but a lot of fun! I used wallpaper, and some handmade paper flowers I had made up.

Then this is what I did with the lid

Now for another swap I completed and mailed off, and it should have been received by now as well. A wall hanging, and this is what I came up with… I was really pleased with this creation.

I used quite a bit of the flowers I had made up for this. I used some deco paper I had in stash and printed the verse on it, then traced around it with a silver glitter pen.

The cross is one of Penny’s cut files I cut from black and deco paper from my stash..

I finished it off with some gems, now I don’t have an irock tool but had some gems that I got from my mom. So after racking my brains on how I could use these and not have to glue each one down. I came up with a way to use my hot glue gun, just wipe the end clean and use the end to heat it up. Worked perfectly! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I know I enjoyed seeing family..

Ok, hmmm 8 things…….. I hope I don’t bore you! LOL

1. I am the first born, first grandchild/granddaughter, and only girl of 4, I have 3 of the best brothers though…

2. I enjoy reading, but it has to be a very interesting book. I’m more into thrillers, scary, ghost stories, and supernatural than love stories.

3. My house is pretty crazy all day and into the night with my kids running around and yelling, and the dog chasing the cat and the bird singing watching.. LOL

(Like I said – CRAZY! )

4. I don’t mind housework, but I despise laundry! I would love to have a maid just for laundry alone. I am very happy my daughter enjoys it and she helps me, but my son throws the clothes around and I end up folding the same item 4 times!

5. I love my kids dearly, even when they frustrate me! It’s hard to be too mad for long with there precious faces staring back at me and the way they make me laugh with there come backs. Kids are way to smart these days!

6. I love being a SAHM – but look forward to going back to work when Jayden starts school.

7. When I was young I took baton twirling classes and was in several competitions. I still enjoy twirling every now and again… and still have my old baton!

8. Is hoping someone will get me the cinch for Christmas!! LOL – I really really want one!!!

A Wedding Card….

My daughter's Kindergarten teacher just got married Friday. I created this card for her earlier in the week, Ashlyn helped me a little, but she was more interested in her movie... It was so cute she kept running back and forth telling me it was beautiful, and she wanted hearts, and to add ribbon etc... She really had more fun in giving her the card, as she told me when she got home with a huge smile on her face, that she gave her teacher the card, and she said thank-you and hugged her real tight... She really does have an amazing teacher, and I am happy she loves her so much. So any how I thought I would share with you my creation. I had alot of fun mostly watching my daughter run back and forth but also putting this card together, and using my cuttlebug and cricut. My 2 most favorite craft items!

I also got caught up on my swaps and will have them posted soon.. I just thought I would wait so they could be a surprise for my partners… I’ll post them in the next couple days! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!! Hugs

Something New….

Hello..... I haven't been very creative with paper lately, but I did manage to create a hair bow for my daughter. I have always wanted to make hair bows and never took the plunge, and Saturday I decided I would give it a go... I am so glad I did, it is so easy and so worth it.. I added a paper rose I had made up to the middle and really think it completes it. Ashlyn loves her new hair bow, I now have to make her best friend one.. lol I think I will make a bunch of these up I have 4 nieces as well, so I am thinking Christmas gifts..

It's been awhile...

I have been battling allergies the last several weeks, seems never ending... Anyway I did manage to complete this shadow box last week for a swap I am in. This is my very first attempt at creating a shadow box, it is so much easier than I had intended it to be.. I was amazed at how easy it was, and was thrilled with my final ART piece. I already plan on working up several more for Christmas gifts and such. These make a wonderful home decor, and are really inexpensive, just takes time and patience to create.. I bought the frame from the dollar store for only $1, it was a basic light wood color, which I painted to a deep dark chocolate..I used some of my deco papers from my stash, printed out the graphic on photo glossy paper, and made up some roses - colored and vines to go around the frame, added the purple ribbon to the corner to complete!

So what do you think??? I really hope my partner likes.. I will be going out in the mail soon!! I think today I will sit and make up some flowers. Enjoy your day! :)

A very nice, Cool day spent in my ARTHaven!

The weather is awesome today, it's only 75 and a nice cool breeze. My allergies aren't the best, but I love the cool weather... I've spent most the day in my little ARTHaven crafting away, with my windows open. I have a few swaps I need to complete and handmade flowers are one of them. I love making handmade paper flowers, there are so many different ways to make them and types and colors, and just way too much fun to do. I love looking at More paper than shoes, her flowers are just gorgeous! I thought well why can't I try to make some of those.. So I gave it a try. I used a 6 petal flower svg. from Penny Duncan for all 3 of my flowers, just sized differently and folded/layered differently.

The yellow one was cut from yellow cardstock, and inked with cocoa around the edges, the the others from white cardstock and inked smoked blue and apple green, then both inked around the edges with cocoa.

Then on the yellow flower I added some glossy accents on the petals.
I love the way they came out, especially the yellow one!

Also Let me share with you the birthday card I created for a very special little girl. She turned 1 yr old, I wanted to make a very special card for her. This is what I came up with....

I thought I would make it with her name on it, and since her name is Paisley add some paisley to it! This way if she would like mommy can hang on her wall and display.. I just hope she likes it!

Well it's here, Autumn and just round the corner is Halloween... I just love this time of year! Cooler weather, windows open, and the changing of colors... My daughter and I have decorated the house up a little bit for Fall/ Halloween.. I made a Halloween Banner to hang over my fireplace, and am pretty happy with it.. It took me a while to complete, a lot of cutting with my cricut, embossing, and putting together. I did make a couple of svg's, but alos used ones from various places.. Most were from Penny Duncan, and some from scrapchick... I used quite a few cut files.
Anyways here is my Halloween Banner

I also took some close up photos, on the Happy part I used one of my Marigolds I made up.. The cut file was shared int he last post if your interested in making some of these flowers...

I also used my cuttlebug to emboss the background and inked it up a bit with some chalk brown ink..

The ghost is an svg file I created, and I will share that at the end of this post.

I made the spiders a bit fuzzy looking, I made some homemade flower soft and colored black to place on the spider. I think it makes it a little creepier! lol

The bats,witch,scary bird, and ghost are embossed..

Ok, now for the cut files I created... I am happy to share them with you all and hope you like them.. Please, Please let me know what you think of them. I had so much fun creating this, and have a few more Halloween ideas flowing around.. I plan on cutting some larger bats and hanging them around the ceiling in the living room, then some smaller spiders and attaching the with string to the curtains and around the walls.. I also get the spider web from dollar stores and attach that around the corners of the walls and will put spider all in the web... On Halloween night I will have some black lights on.... A day of crafty fun!

I had a fun day of crafting last week, and never got around to posting it.. I have upgraded my computer to win7 and have been trying to get things installed again and everything working.. I think I have finally got most everything on here and working properly... Thank goodness!! lol
I have been playing around with flower in Inkscape and wanted to create a marigold type flower. There are several types to work with, although I needed something easy due to being a beginner.. lol It took me awhile to figure this out and get it right.. but I do like it. I even went to walmart and got a pair of the needle nose tweezers. They are perfect to folding the tiny petals. Here are the flowers I created using my svg. file.

I used white cardstock for the top one and colored it using my watercolor markers. The 2 bottom ones are made using orange cardstock. The middle is homemade flower soft, which you can find a link on how to make it HERE

I also created this birthday card for our neighbors little boy, who is my daughters friend. We went to his birthday party Sunday at the park, and had a lot of fun but boy was it hot!

I used my cricut for the words - the happy birthday is one of Penny Duncan's svg files, as well as the square shaplie &I just typed out his name in SCAL. I also created the candles cut file. and finished it off by stamping little gifts on the corners, and inking the edges all around with chalk ink, brown.

Hinged Card

Have any of you ever created a Hinge Card?? Me either, but I joined the hinge card swap in CIF, and let me just tell you, I had so much fun with this.. I wanted to create something a little different than the square card, so I thought I would try it at a circle.. I love what I came up with. I used the scallop circle from one of Penny Duncan's shaplies, then cut 2 basic circle shapes. pieced it together and added my finishing touches.. I created the flower using different shaplie files from Penny Duncan. I also used my cuttlebug and embossed the top part, and added the flower brad and blue ribbon.

I love creating new things and venturing out to new techniques and art types.. I am having so much fun with these new swaps!! So what do you think, if you haven't tried this you should.. I just googled hinge card and several types came up.. It's very easy to do, and so creative!!

Altered Photo Frame..

Hi there, I haven't posted any ART in a while so thought I would share this photo frame I altered for a swap I am in... I bought a 5X7 photo frame for a $1 at the dollar store, this was my first time altering a photo frame. I had a lot of fun and will be doing this again... I used Tim Holtz antique Linen Distressed Crackle paint to paint over the frame. The I cut several flower shapes from Penny Duncan's shaplies and created the flowers, I also cut some of her leaves to place around the frame with the flowers.

I just printed this phrase as something decorative to put in it, once received though this can be replaced with any photo desired...

My swap partner is Celeste and I know she really like flowers and butterflies, so I hope she likes this frame...

Candy Jar & Card

I haven 't anything new, but wanted to share this jar of candy I made for Ashlyn's kindergarten teacher. I took one of those starbuck frappuccino coffee drink jars and dressed it up a bit. I cut the border with my cricut, added a flower sticker from my stash, a ribbon and then the 2 fabric flowers (from my stash) to the lid, finished off with a button. then created the matching card to go with it. Ashlyn has had a wonderful first 2 weeks of school, we love her teacher!

Wall ART....

I created this not too long ago... It was for a swap in one of my groups, and I forgot to post it to my blog. So I thought since I didn't have anything to share at the moment I would share this.

I used some of Tim Holtz inks to get all inky in this creation. I also used one of his masks, I had never used them before. I sprayed glimmer mists all over it afterwards, to add a bit of glimmer.

Here is my Easel card.... I created for Creative Inspirations & Friendships group, I had so much fun playing today, and creating this card.. I have always wanted to create one and now that we have CIF, I can explore further into my ART.

So what do you think? I just love the way this card looks, the easel part is much easier than I thought it would be... I hope to make more of this type of card. I used some cut files from Penny Duncan, and of course made the beautiful flowers.. I love these flowers! The frame is something I made, playing around in my beginning stages with inkscape. and the butterflies are a jpeg file converted to svg.

First let me say "Happy hump Day" to you all..... It's countdown to the weekend, and Friday I will be going out of town. I got the digi image from online, so sorry I can't remember where from.. The cut file is from Penny Duncan, she makes beautiful cut files..
Then I have for you the 2 bookmarks I made for another swap I am in.

I did get my pinkies pretty inky with this creation. I really love the corner bookmark.. It was made from the corner of an old envelope.. Amazing right! Easy as can be to make too..

Pansies.......

I created this card with pansies on my mind... In one of my groups we have a swap that calls for pansies, so this may indeed be my swap card... I absolutely love the circle frame - which I got from Becca over at Amazing paper grace... She has so many wonderful ideas and creativity.. This frame was just too easy to make, she has a tutorial for this frame HERE. If you haven't already given this a try in your art you really should, it sure does make it pop!

I used my cuttlebug to emboss the background with swiss dots, added the beautiful panises in the teacup and then the corner pansies. finished up with a piece of ribbon tied at the top and a pearl dot. The frame is popped up a bit with pop up glue dots, sets it off I think.

Handmade Fan...

Hello everyone!
Here I am today to share with you all the handmade fan I created... I made it for a swap I am in, and just love the way it looks... I had come across a fan template on Mirkwood templates and thought hmm "I bet I could make a template like that in svg. format.. "So I went to work and yep sure enough I did it! I am really having way to much fun with inkscape and my cricut.. Here is my fan

ok, so I cut the fan template and tied the ends together with this yarn/ribbon from my messy stash.. Then I made the buttons (it's paper!) and tied off with brown yarn from my stash.. I also spritzed with my glitter misters, (made with Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap distressed ink & Heirloom Gold perfect pearls.) Then I created this lace border in inkscape and cut with my cricut & spritzed with my glitter mister. It just didn't look complete! I had seen a tutorial online on handmade flowers.. I love handmade flowers and wanted to give this a try really bad.. So I decided this would be perfect for one of those flowers. So here it is! I inked the edges with Brown ink, and then spritzed after it was made with my glitter mister..

So what do you think??

Also.. lol I know I am just like a child with a new toy!! right?? I thought I would like to have a little watermark to always use for my blog posts.. A friend of mine has a logo she uses and I thought well heck why couldn't I make something like that.. Well I went to work in my adobe and created this watermark logo...

CDAC Challenge - Inspiration Challenge

I created another card for a challenge over at Crafters digital art center... The challenge is "Birthday Whimsy" and this is the inspirational picture to go by....

Here is my take on the challenge

I used my cricut to cut the frame that I made in inkscape.. yep that's right I created it all myself.. woo hoo... Although I think it could have cut much better, I still love it.. Inkscape is my new addiction!! I colored the image with my gel pens, I love the way the gel pens look on the image, and the shimmery look it leaves.. then touched it up with some paper flowers, I dabbed a few of them with orange chalk ink.. lime green ribbon and then the birthday part of the image.. I separated the freebie image into the cupcake then the sentiment to tag it.. Lots of fun!!! It is raining here and that is my kid of crafting weather.. A Color Challenge.....

I decided to jump in an do this color challenge for Crafters Digital Art Center.I joined this group not too very long ago and there are so many beautiful digi's available, and fun challenges. I used the freebie digital image that was given with the challenge. The challenge color to use is Yellow, for summertime.. I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils, cut out and used a couple nesties to create a frame for the image. I cuttlebugged the frame and inked with yellow. added the saying and tied with a yellow bow. It just didn't quite look right until I added the little trails around the card. Then I used a corner punch for the 4 corners.

"Bloom where you are Planted"

I have been having such a great day today... It has been yucky stormy, and raining outside and well that just makes for a great craft day... After getting the kids settled playing and watching a movie, I settled down in my craft room. I started working on this creation & I have also been playing around quite a bit with Inkscape and let me tell you I am hooked to yet another thing... Everything is so addicting, especially if it has to do with crafting! lol Any how let me start first with my creation... I used my cricut a lot for this project...

I thought about cutting little butterflies, but these glittered sticker butterflies were perfect... I also did some embossing in the background I stamped the scroll leaves from inkadinkado clear stamps and embossed with Tim Holtz, vintage photo embossing powder. Inked the edges with brown ink, the saying is on vellum from a stash I have - glued to crayon paper. I used my scallop scissors to scallop them both.

The scroll leaves and flowers are cut from crayon paper I made a while back. The brown glitter flowers from an old book and spritzed with glitter mist. All flowers have crystal laquer applied to keep shape and look glossy. and.... I used Modge podge, and man oh man does it work great! To finish it up I attached a gold ribbon I had in my ribbon stash.. I had so much fun playing today, now I think I am off to rest! Until next time.....

I just love butterflies... Today is a crafting day for me, that's for sure! There are so many new things in the world of talent I want to explore and I really just need to jump out there and try them. I have been playing in Inkscape for the last couple of days as well, and trying to grasp that program. I love my cricut and use it quite a bit, and there are so many possibilities, endless if you can create your own svg. files... My head is turning so fast my ears are burning with ideas! lol
Anyways, I wanted to share with you all the card I created for a swap I joined in. I very rarely do the sketch only because I am picky about the sketches, if I think it's a good sketch that I can work with I go for it. I loved this one, so I went a skipping... This is what I came up with

I cut the butterflies from my cricut, and layered them with glue dots. Here is a closer photo of the butterflies...

Tri - Fold Card...

Here is a Tri - fold card I created earlier today for the weekly challenge we are having in a yahoo group I belong to. I like this kind of fold, it's different and it's been a while since I had done it, so it was a bit of a challenge for me.

(I also touched up the inside a bit)

I love the corner flourishes, I got these from a search I did on google. I don't recall seeing who created them but they are very pretty!

Handmade Embellishments......

It's so much fun creating your own handmade embellishments... Not to mention so much cheaper! We have a monthly mingle in a group I belong to, and this month it was to create handmade embellishments for your partner. I created these flowers, some are plain just glittered, some are embossed, with my cuttlebug, and then inked all around the edges. I cut all these flowers from my cricut out of glitter cardstock, easier than glittering them myself and the glitter stays on.. LOL
Very easy to make and lots of fun, especially when you use them on your project...

So there they are, All done and ready to be mailed off.....
but... I decided to make them look as if they were really store bought, I put them in an old package - I save them for storing! which is perfect.... I created a little label using my blog header and a tag I cut from my cricut, stapled it on and whoola!

Image Challenge

First let me say I am so happy to start a new week.... Last week was full of fun, but thank goodness it is over. My SIL is now married, and family is returning home, it was great to see family and get to spend a little time with them. My 5 year old daughter was a perfect little flower girl, and so beautiful in her white dress..
Here is a swap I completed for a group I am in CCC, we have a monthly image challenge. I decided I wanted to try out this apron cut design and decorate it using the image somehow. Well this is what I came up with, and I hope my recipient likes it... I used my cricut to cut the apron,and then the wooden spoons. I thought it gave it the finishing touch adding the spoons to the pocket. It was really fun to create! Wedding Card...

My sister-in-law is getting married June 4th, therefore I made this wedding card for her. I used the colors of her wedding to try and make it special. I created the frame using a fiskar corner punch, I learned this from Becca over at Amazing Paper Grace. I love her blog! I cut the "Happily ever after" and the frame from my cricut (storybook cartridge). Cuttlebugged using swiss dots and then swirls. I really like what I did, and hope the happy couple like it as well. My 5 year old is the little flower girl, I just can't wait to see her and how well she does...

These are 2 of the swaps I have completed for one of my groups. The first theme was to use tulips in your creation. I found this cute little image and went for it! It's a pretty simple card..

The second one is for the "Word challenge" we have every month, and this month the word was song...

I'm not sure if the quote I used has been used before or not.. but I just thought it up..

Catching up.....

It's taking me some time to catch up and get in the mood to do so... Not only did my family get Strep Throat, including me.. but..... I LOST my mojo! This happens quite a bit through the Summer time, such nice weather. I just can't help it my body rather be outside in the water or enjoying the sun rays and BBQ with family and friends. I seem to have caught it today though and am going to use it to it's fullest, I have so much to accomplish. Between my group swaps, birthdays, friends who need a pick me up card, and my sister-in-law is getting married. So yes I have so much to do.. Oh let's hope I can do it all, I think I can, I think I can oh I know I can!!!! LOL Anyways, on to the good stuff or so you can tell me what you think..... Here are the latest I have done. I created this magnet for a friend in my group, and for our Monthly Mingle in CCC group.

My Daughter's 5th Birthday!

Well Hello! I know I have been VERY quiet lately in posting and hopping. I do apologize, things have been hectic here. We had my daughter 5th birthday party Sunday at Chuck E. Cheese, had a blast. Although my son was feeling yucky and just wanted to be held, Ashlyn enjoyed herself. Monday I took my son to the Dr. and he has Strep Throat, the next day Ashlyn starts feeling yuckier so take her and she has it. So I have been taking care of my 2 sick kiddos all week, and when Jayden is sick he just wants to be held. My arms feel like putty, and my back hurts so bad I am walking around like Egore! LOL

Anyways, I did manage to get this card made for my daughter earlier last week. I really had fun and love what came up with. She loved it!
Kids are on the mend so hopefully I won't get it and can get back into the swing of things. I so miss my craft time, and blogging buddies. If you are still with me! lol

It's been awhile I know! I don't get as much craft time now that it's Summer and nice weather. We spend loads of time outside, and plus with Ashlyn starting school in August I have been working more with her. My life is only beginning to get busier! LOL I do have a few swaps I signed up for, fingers crossed I can get them made up in time. I did however have a little time earlier and decided to dive in and give something a try. Hello! Just a quick post tonight to share with you all the clothes pins I altered... I completed these for a swap in CCC. They are really easy to make, and so cute to put on your fridge. I made these using the story book cartridge and then some polka dots paper I found in my paper stash, added some magnet paper to the back and whola!

Oh.... I also covered them pretty good with glossy accents so they are tough and glossy!

Hello! Hope everyone is enjoying the start to there Easter weekend.... I know I am, I have been boiling eggs, playing with paper and enjoying the laughter and noise of the little ones. Tomorrow morning we will color and decorate Eggs for our family Easter Egg Hunt. Also as today is my birthday I have enjoyed all the phone calls, and emails from my wonderful family and friends. It really takes my mind away from turning yet a year older.. I am getting extra love and hugs from my beautiful babies as well, and Ashlyn made me a card all on her own! Today I have several things I am working on and some are half way through, some not even started and 1 complete.

I thought I would make a little Easter treat for our neighbor friends kids. Ashlyn & Jayden have two very good little playmates next door, so I made these cute little Easter baskets (template found here), and filled them with Easter goodies... I can't remember where I got these Easter images, but I love them! I have lots more to do today and tonight so off I go to play some more...

I've Been MIA....

Just wanted to let you all know I am back!!!! Well sort of... lol
Last week I went to visit family, and then we also had family from Australia come in. So it was a fun filled busy week away from home, with 2 kiddos & my momma and another kiddo.. Oh yes I did say fun! LOL
We had a blast with our Australian family, and I so enjoyed getting away a bit even though a week was just way too long..
So now that the house is finally some what in order, we started on some Spring cleaning & yard work! I haven't been real crafty lately but I thought I would share a card I made for the CCB group. The theme was white on white, basically all white card.. So this is what I came up with

Since this is for a Cuttlebug group and well, it calls for use of your cuttlebug..lol I embossed this with my brand new Victorian folder... I love my new folders and can't wait to get more..
I have also been doing some work on my blog, not literally but I changed my gmail and had to switch it over to the new one and then delete the old one etc. etc. etc... anyways I lost everyone that I was following, so I am going to go to each of my followers and follow you again, and well just start over on the others... lol At least I got it all switched over. So if I'm not following you yet, hold tight I will be! Ok, off to get little ones in bed!!

My First Journal....

I have been wanting to work on some journals for some time now, and finally got down to it.... I worked on this a few days ago, and just love how it turned out... I used my wallpaper books and them an old love story book that I tore some pages out to make the flowers... I love making these paper flowers, I think they are so pretty... I sprayed them down with some gold glimmer mist, then inked the ends with Tim Holtz aged mahogany ink, the middle is one of my homemade dew drops... I am hoping to make a few more for gifts for family and friends!

Happy Sunday everyone! It is a dreary day here, raining and a bit cool... It is said to rain for the next couple days, so it's a great time to craft, depending on if my kids allow it! lol
So yesterday I was able to get this card created for a couple challenges, and a birthday card for my stash..

first, challenge is over at Flutter By Wednesday Challenge Blog.. We were to create a card using a photo as inspiration..

This card was alot of fun to make...

ABC Cards...

Hello! I spent today working on a little project... I thought I would make some ABC flash cards for my daughter to learn with. I used my cricut to cut out the letters, then just printed out the clip art that went with the letter.

My little helper Suri!!

It was a fairly easy project! I colored the letters with my prismacolors. Then I made this basic box to hold the cards in, and then added the ABC image to the top of the box.

Very easy, but will be lots of fun for my daughter to learn with and then I'll have them for my son when he is ready to learn.

This was alot of fun, my daughter helped me pick out the clip art to go with the letter.
I am trying to get prepared for her starting school this year, it's going to be so hard for me.. I know she will enjoy it, but I will so miss having my baby girl here with me!

It's a Birthday Card!

How fun this was! I made this cutesy birthday card for one of my beautiful nieces, Camryn... Today is her very special day as it is her birthday! My brother and his wife have 4 girls and they are the most beautiful, sweetest little girls ever... They live in New Jersey, my brother is in the military and as he just got back from Haiti he will be sent off again March 10th. I miss them all so much!!!
I had alot of fun creating this card for my niece. I personalized it for her as you can see, and glittered it up. I just cut her name with my cricut and glittered the background behind the paper. I used this cute birthday girl digi - Lottie from Margie's Malarkies
I think she is so cute, and perfect for a birthday card. I colored her in with my prismacolor markers, which I am still working with. I think I like the pencils better, but want to give the markers a try.

"Happy Spring"

Well not yet, but soon.... ;)
I know a lot of people who are ready for Spring, but I don't want to rush it, I'm just not ready for Summer and the heat. I can stand to be cold, but to be hot, well that's just horrible! So I'm ok, with the snow, and the rain and the cold. Don't get me wrong I love spring, it's one of my favorite seasons, and I do enjoy Summer just not the triple digits! lol
So as I was saying, Spring! It may not be here yet, but soon enough it will be. The beautiful flowers blooming, the storms crashing, and the little insects hopping and birds chirping... It's all on it's way... In the group Crafty Card Creators we have our Monthly Mingle and for the Month of March It is to create a Wall Hanging with the "Spring Theme"... I also noticed that there were a couple challenge blogs I could add this too, so they will be listed at the bottom...

I created the frame using the tutorial from splitcoast stampers. I used my 2 new stamps that I got from Michaels for $1 each. Cuttlebug embossed, and pastel pink embossed over the background. cuttlebug die cut butterfly and embossed, and a scrap paper from my stash, used MS trellis punch. flowers are brightened up with perfect pearls and to finish off some blue ribbon for hanging - from my stash!

this was really fun to create, and now that my 4 yr old daughter saw it she wants one for her room. So I will eventually be making one for her and one for my son's room with there names on it.. when I get around to actually doing this I will post it for you all to see...

Sweet April Showers do Spring May Flowers.

Spring is on it's way... or I think? Who knows it may never get here... I've been told we will be getting more snow around 3am... So tomorrow we will wake yet another morning to SNOW! Not that I am complaining, but WOW! What a winter we have had this year! We NEVER get snow and this year have had quite a bit... The kids have sure enjoyed it though, and this week with the crazy up and downs in weather, they both have snotty noses! Yuck...
So as I was saying, Spring! I am trying to push the cold away and think warmer... I created this card for a swap in our Crafty Card Creator group... The "Word" swap which this month's word was Showers.. Perfect for a Spring card! I really am pleased with this card, I am trying to venture out and try new things... I have been working with coloring with my prisma colors (the pencils). I really like the way the coloring turned out, of course I need to work on it more.... I also used the colors for our groups weekly challenge that we have, blue, yellow, green and white - I think they are all there... lol

Ok, Valentines is over but I wanted to share with you all the Valentine card I made my hubby. Well is was actually a Valentine/Anniversary card, since our Anniversary is the same day. Anyway Here it is

Hello Bogland! yesterday was a great day... My husband and I celebrated our 2nd year Anniversary as well as Valentines Day.. We have been together 9 years, and married 2. My mom had her power out due to the snow storm we had, so she was also with us. We had a great day though, went shopping got me some new goodies to play with, and just had a day full of fun.
As for before Valentines day, well we had a bit of a snow storm, pretty crazy for Texas! We had a blast playing in the snow with the kids. It has just about melted away now, just little traces that we did get snow... lol
Here are a couple of cards I created through out the week.
This one is a birthday card, I created this just to add to my stash for upcoming birthdays... You can never have to many.. and I seem to always forget or be late, something I hope to change!

and then this one is a card I created for a Mingle for a group I am in, creativecuttlebuggers. This was really a challenge for me, you are to create a 8.5 X 3.75 card, to fit a business envelope. I have never worked with this size card before, but really do like it. I even made a matching envie, which I could not find a template for this size envelope anywhere, so I created it myself.

I found somewhere where they made paper bows, and I gave that a try. I couldn't remember where I saw it, but this bow is nothing like it.. lol but I liked this bow for this card... I really do enjoy my wallpaper books!

CCC Weekly Challenge 12

Each week in the yahoo group CraftyCardCreators, we have a challenge. This weeks challenge in to create a card with a butterfly being the focal point... I created this card!

I used wallpaper from my many wallpaper books, for the background, the scalloped circles, and the butterfly. The only things on this card actually bought are the cardstock, the ribbon and the pearls.. lol oh and let's not forget the perfect pearls. I used to touch up the butterfly.

I still need to work on my bows a bit, but after a lot of tinkering I finally got it to look somewhat reasonable.. I did get a cut file for my cricut of the bow easy and should really give that a try, I may work with that soon. Thank-you for stopping by & Have a great evening!

Crafty Day!

I have had one crafty day today! so much fun, and now it is time to part from my paper to retreat to the kitchen and slave over a hot stove! I guess I can't for get to feed my family, they seem hungry.. lol

I am really trying to use different techniques and card style altogether, actually move up in my art. There is always ways to to do better, and that's what I am hoping to accomplish with my future creations.. With that said I created this card and actually got most of my inspiration from Amazing Paper Grace, (you can find the link in my blog list) I love her creations... The frame she made was really easy to do and makes your card POP! It's amazing how I look at the most beautiful creations and think to myself "oh my that's gorgeous, I'll never be able to do something like that... ! and low and behold it's really not that difficult, you just have to put your mind in it and GO! lol I really enjoyed creating this card, and proving to myself that I CAN do it! Well I got kids hollering and my husband begging so I better get running... I just had to share this with you.. I hope you are all having a very good day! I've been wanting to create a Hanglie Danglie for some time now and finally gave it a go! I am really happy with my creation and have it hanging on my wall now.. I love the flower, made with papers from a paperback book, I found these darling flowers on a blog and can't remember where, I had to make them from my memory, and added a homemade dewdrop as I think they added a button. I also used natural fiber wallpaper from one of my many wallpaper books. I love my wallpaper books! Well, now to share my Creation.

This is up close, I just love this paper flower!

and this is a bit further away, so you can see that the yarn is ran through the punched area and hangs down each side.. (I used the MS lattice punch)

ATC's & A Valentine Card

It's been a while since I updated.. I do try and keep up, but get so busy chasing my 18 month old around, and then my 4 year old! I'd love to know where kids learn some of the things they say.. lol
Anyways, on to my creations....
I have for you today 2 ATC's the first being a Shamrock for the ATC swap in our group, CraftyCardCreators, "St.Patty's day"!

Second ATC is for Valentines day.. I am still not sure if I am happy with this one or not.. Please let me know what you think? Honestly! lol I am just not sure, kinda in the middle if I like it or not...

And last but not least I have a Valentines Card. I actually had this card made a while back but added to it and spruced it up a bit.. This is for the Word swap in our group, using the word Heart, heartfelt etc..

I just wanted to share this card with you all. We have a challenge every week in the yahoo group I am in and this week it was to create a card using the little boy digi image, and to have spots on your card somewhere... Well here is my card for the Challenge.. I colored the image with prismacolors, cut it out, the background paper is nursery rhymes (not sure of maker but believe it's from Joanns). I thought this would make a cute little boy birthday card so I used one of the stamps I got from My Sentiments Exactly.. and whoola!

Here is a card I created for a swap in CraftyCardCreators, with the image given for the Image swap. We have this every month and this beautiful violin image is January's image to work with. I found this lovely music/Butterfly paper in my stash and then used my MS lace punch on red and Black pieces of cardstock, adhered the print out of the image, then added the red ribbon and then some hearts that I punched and glittered to complete this card. I am really happy with the final look and just love this image...

This card was created for the image swap in our group CraftyCardCreators, I wanted to try something a bit different. I saw a card on splitcoast stampers that was done something like this and had to give it a try. So this is the card I made with the image given...

I used my adobe program to make this image into little squares. I then cut them and placed on the card.. Really pretty easy, yet gives such a neat look... and I also used one of my new MS punches I received for Christmas... Love them!

Here is a card I created for a swap in our group CraftyCardCreators. Every month we have a Word challenge swap, which we are givin a word to use in our creation in some way.. This month the word was "Blessings". I made this blessings word and cut with my cricut, and blue and silver were the colors I chose to go with. I added the ribbon and heart charm and then inked the edges to add the last touch... Also in our group we have a weekly challenge in which this month was to create a card with the sentiment being the focal point.. Blessings is my sentiment and I believe it is the focal point, don't ya think?

"Miss Kitty" - Image Challenge

It's been way too long since I participated in a blog challenge... So here we go! I joined my very dear friend Gloria in the challenge over at There's Magic In the Air.. this was a fun challenge and the image is too cute.... I sized the image and printed off, then colored with my Memories Direct - These are new to me, so this is the first time I used them.. I think I may need more practice... Anyways after I colored it I added some Gloss Varnish which added a bit of a glossy look, then I added glitter... lol I love Glitter! So this is my completed challenge card and down the road a birthday card! Great way to stock up on cards so I hope to join in more challenges! Ok I have finally returned to my True passion which is Paper. I have a few swaps I need to complete. I had such a fun time playing this weekend.. Here are a few of my creations.

This is the "Winter Wishes" ATC I made for our ATC swap in CraftyCardCreators. I used my cricut to cut the reindeer and Christmas tree and then just used flower soft to create the snow effect..

and this is the card I created for our "Frost yourself" swap. I again used my cricut to cut the window and then placed a snowy scenery behind it. Then to give it the frost look used flower soft around the window. cut these cute little birds from my cricut and glittered them.

Snowflakes are the Flowers of Winter...

Here is a card I created today, after viewing Mel Stampz blog. I have a swap to complete for CraftyCardCreators, the theme being "Winter Flowers". I was browsing Mel's blog when I came across a card that was perfect for the theme. You can see her card here..

I created this card with Mel's card in mind.. I didn't have any snowflake stamps though, so I created them in Adobe. I also created the circles and since I didn't have the sentiment stamp I just used Adobe for that as well. I stitched the circles and the flowers and stems, used a blue glitter gel pen to add a bit of color to the snowflake flowers and the sentiment. The leaves are cut from Christmas music sheet printout, added glossy accents and a bit of white glitter and traced with blue glitter gel pen. I wanted to try something a bit different and just LOVE this card... I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving...

I made this card for a new monthly swap in our group CraftyCardCreators. Patti came up and is hosting a swap where you create a card and incorporate the word she chooses into your card somewhere.. This month the word was Treasure.. This is what I came up with.

Used: Cardstock,Wallpaper background paper, swiss dots cuttlebug folder, Friends are treasures sticker, Provo Craft - acrylic stamp friends set, pastel chalks, gel pens, handmade dew drops, Tim holtz tea dye ink pad.

I created 2 cards tonight, the first one is for a swap I am in in CraftyCardCreators, the theme is "Winter Flowers". I started out using papers from my wallpaper books.. I just LOVE my wallpaper books, my hubby brought me home 30 books so they are scattered about in my Art room... lol Now to show you my card....

Used: Wallaper, swiss dots folder, graphic, flowers cut-out, perfect pearls, glossy accents, handmade dew drop for flower middle, flower fluff (snow) and unknown stickers....

Next, Is a card I created for a friends birthday that is coming up... I really enjoyed working on this card, a bit different but I love the flowers....
I used my cricut quite a bit on this card, and once again the papers are from one of my many wallpaper books...

Used: wallpaper papers, swirls folder, cricut embellishments, Tim Holts Distress Inks - tea dye, and embossing powder. distress inks for flowers fired brick and aged mahogany, leaves - pine needles. glossy accents, handmade dew drops and pink ribbon (unknown)...

Gift Card Holder

I have created this Gift Card Holder for the weekly challenge we have in a group I am in, CraftyCardCreators.. Jennie host this challenge each week, and since she is on vacation I hosted it this week. I thought with the holidays approaching, that a gift card holder would be great to make.. So here is my creation

I started out with a 8.5 X 5.5 piece of white cardstock, scored across the short end at 2 and 6 inches, then folded. This makes your gift card holder, then you decorate as you wish. I used my holiday paper (can't remember the name), made the bow with my green holiday ribbon, and used the snowflake brad to attach to card. Added glitter to sparkle it up a bit, then the red dew drops I made...
Then I used a little sticky strip to close mine...
and here is the inside....

This was really easy to make and fun... They would be great for Christmas, for the gift card givers....

I finally got to have a night to play and create some cards... I have some friends who have lost loved ones and I wanted to create cards for them, to brighten there day... So here they are!

I used my wallpaper books for the background papers, I just love them! I will be going and getting more this week, as I am sure there will be some from October to get rid of..

Tunnel Card Challenge...

This is my very first try at a tunnel card.... Over at CraftyCardCreators yahoo group there is a challenge every week. So here is my take on the tunnel card.. Here is a tut on how to make a Tunnel Card, click HERE...
This is the front

I used my cuttlebug, swiss dots for the front then some Martha Stewart ribbon along the middle with a pink flower to finish it off. I added the 3d butterfly and then the sentiment rub-ons.
Now for the inside

I started out by stamping Thanks on the back of the pink inside the aperture. Then used the butterfly diecut and embossing folder for the butterfly in my cuttlebug. I embossed it a bit more with Tim Holtz tattered rose distress powder. then took my Tim Holtz tea dye ink pad around the edges of the butterfly. Took some white ribbon and attached to the aperture of the card. Then I stamped the sides of the card with the border stamp, and added the pink prima flowers along the sides. I did make a few mistakes getting ink on the sides, actually happened after I made the card... I just hate when that happens, but decided to go with it anyway, rather than making a new one. So this is my tunnel card!

Also after being told I have entered the challenge over at Cuttlebug challenges...

In this challenge you are to use your favorite (anything), and this card has alot of my favorites.. One would be butterflies, I love butterflies! Then the colors I pink and white, and the swiss dots embossing folder - It's one of my favorites, and last but not least the prima flowers....

Another "Fall" Creation..

I created this card for a swap I am in, in CraftyCardCreators the image swap.. I especially like this swap because it is an image and I love working with graphics. Now on how I put this card together....
First I found the papers I would be working with, which are all printed out off my computer. The fall pumpkin paper and the green swirl paper were both printed out and cut to size, then I sized the image and printed it out, and went around the image with my versa magic, gingerbread ink pad... I glued the pumpkin paper to my card then I used my cricut to cut the Autumn flourish out of the green swirl paper. I glued the image to it, and then used a bit of cardboard to raise the flourish frame off the card a bit, then adhered it to the card. To finish the card up I added a couple fabric Fall leaves, then added a piece of paper on the inside... I am pretty happy with this card and hope my swap partner will be also...

I also spent some time earlier today playing with my adobe and creating digi stamps.. I am still in the process of just playing but am really enjoying it.. I always love learning something new, and with all the tut's online I just can't help but try it out...

A Great Day!!!!!

Yep that's right today was a great day!!! I had many laughs, and so enjoyed my time in my craft room. I straightened some things up, perfected my blog layout a bit, as I thought the background was too dark on the other one, and even did some minor cleaning in the house. Of course I also had to play a bit with my babies, Ashlyn and I played hide and seek as Jayden gave us away when we were the ones hiding.. It amazes me how funny and cute children can be. Now they are off to bed and I have the night to myself, until my hubby gets home around midnight. I thought I would post my creation from earlier today, and then play a bit more. I created this card for a swap I am in, it is to be 3D and the theme is "Fall"..

I found this graphic online and really liked it, so I worked it into a 3D sheet and then cut it out. On the base of the card I used some of my glimmer mist I made from Tim Holtz distress reinkers Brushed Corduroy, and perfect pearls heirloom gold. You can't really tell in the photo but it gives it a little glimmer! I added the 3D tea cups and then embellished with the green fall leaf, and finished up by inking the edges of the card with Tim Holtz distress ink, tea dye.

Blog update.....

It may not be a paper update, but it is a new blog layout.... I haven't played with paper in a couple days, but decided I needed a different look. I am one who can't stick with one layout for too long and it was time for a change... I thought I would create something for the Fall time which I am enjoying, although it is raining again outside it is still much cooler... I did play with paper a few nights ago, and created this cool witches shoe from a pattern I found over at www.ellenhutson.com. If you would like to give this a try hop on over to her site and grab her pattern... I plan on making a few more Halloween ART things before then, but we will see if time allows me too... lol I hope everyone is having a lovely day today.. thank-you for stopping by to visit me!

3 New Cards....

I finally have an update on my creations.. My husband came down with the Swine Flu (H1N1) last week and then it went down the line to me and then our 4 year old daughter.. Thank goodness it didn't catch our 15 month old.. He was lucky out of all of us! Anyways things are much better now, the cough is still hanging on but we are all feeling much better. I fell behind in a few swaps so today I played catch up. I really enjoyed my play time today and hope that the recipients will like them as well. Here's another 3D Card

I created this card with a cat's theme for a 3D group I belong too.. I just love this kitty and how soft and precious she looks. I am really loving 3D right now, and really enjoyed working on this card. I think today I will work on making a few sheets myself.. So Gloria be on the look out.. lol
